About Us
Sandgärdskolan is a secondary state school situated in the municipality of Borås in the south west of Sweden. Currently there are approximately 350 pupils in school years 7-9 (which means that they are 13-16 years old) in the school. Borås is the 14th largest city in Sweden, with about 110 000 inhabitants in the entire municipality.
Team
Jonas Tengblad is head of Science and Mathematics. He also teaches ICT and works with school development at municipal level in Borås. Per Selin is a lecturer with research interest in practitioner led classroom research. His main areas for research and teaching is English and Swedish.
Project Involvement
We are the pilot school in Sweden and especially involved in IO1 where we will outline the STEM challenges that the students will use to get involved in and interested in global science issues.
